Job Description

At Vertical Screen, Inc., we perform background checks so our clients' job applicants can get hired. As an Occupational Health Services Representative, you will be an important part of this process!

We are looking for service-oriented representatives to provide assistance to callers via phone support and research. We handle a variety of time-sensitive requests, so effective communication skills are essential to what we do. While a prior background in healthcare or knowledge of healthcare terminology is useful, it is not required.

 

This position helps make a difference in people's lives and provides a sense of satisfaction knowing you helped get people back to work. You will also be part of a great team that cares about the people they serve and takes pride in what they do!

 

This is a full-time position at 40 hours a week, and the available shift is 2pm-10pm Monday through Friday.

 

Responsibilties

  • Handle a high volume of inbound or outbound calls
  • Evaluate documentation and information needed
  • Processing and following up on invoices and faxes
  • Administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and mailing different types of documents
  • Maintain and document detailed notes in system regarding correspondence with applicants

     

Required Skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, inbound/outbound call center environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently operate and navigate a computer and internal software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus!

     

Education

The candidate we are seeking will have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
