Job Description:
As a Warehouse Associate , you will play a critical role in the daily operations of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for shipment, handling incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with other warehouse team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production goals in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring compliance with consumer specifications.
Tear down and flatten boxes for reuse and recycle packaging materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
Unload and unpack incoming shipments, scanning and shelving parts for inventory control.
Process and inspect customer returns, determining the appropriate course of action for damaged or incorrect items.
Assist with data entry into the inventory control system, ensuring accurate records for all incoming and outgoing products.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Top Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves :
Order Picking : Ability to accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
General Labor : Comfortability performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and handling materials.
Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy, ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly.
Physical Stamina : Ability to lift up to 20lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Nice to Haves :
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) : Basic experience with computerized inventory control or warehouse management systems.
Material Handling Equipment : Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse machinery (not required but a plus).
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, damaged items, or packaging concerns.

Work Environment:
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st shift) with additional opportunities for overtime.
Premium Pay : 1.5x premium pay for weekend shifts during peak seasons.

Requirements:
Prior experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Basic computer skills and experience with scanning devices or inventory systems is a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
