Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking an individual who will be responsible for the safe manufacturing of metal E-Rings. Utilize standard measuring devices and gauges, and safely operate all manufacturing equipment involved in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures

  • Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts

  • Read and interpret work instructions

  • Communicate with others on work order status and completion of work

  • Perform assembly and inspection

Essential Skills

  • Machine operation

  • Assembly

  • Inspection

  • Manufacturing experience (1 year)

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to read and write English

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to use a computer

Work Environment

E-Ring Associates work with other team members, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The work involves frequent standing and walking, using hands to operate machines and measuring devices, and using a computer. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally are expected. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Shifts available: 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM, M-F with potential for OT), 2nd shift (3PM-12AM M-Th and 3PM-7PM Friday), and 3rd shift (11PM-7AM Sun-Thurs).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
