What you`ll do

SAP BTP ABAP Environment is the SAP Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for ABAP Cloud development that enables developers to leverage their traditional on-premises ABAP knowledge to develop and run ABAP Cloud applications in the SAP Business TechnologyPlatform. We have a fully Kubernetes native architecture in place to leverage containertechnology and economics of scale. Our PaaS offering is a production grade and robustplatform with baked-in Kubernetes best practices for compliance and security engineering.All lifecycle actions are based on a high degree of automation and backed by deep andaccurate telemetry to adhere to industry standards.

You will experience first-hand how the heavy lifting engineering work is done under the coversof the BTP ABAP PaaS offering. This means that you are part of the whole developmentlifecycle from sketching ideas to experiencing the product you build during operations with aspecial focus on security and compliance. You will perform technical evaluations, strengthenengineering efforts, and ensure that our systems are robust against threats while adhering toregulatory standards.

What you bring

• You should bring recent engineering experience with Kubernetes to the table bothconcepts and coding.

• Ideally already 1 years of work experience. Graduates are welcome!

• Confidence in writingGolang and/or NodeJS code is expected.

• A solid understanding of cloud nativeengineering principles with a focus on compliance and security aspects is required.

• Practical experience with AWS / Azure / GCP is beneficial.

• At least B2 German languageproficiency and fluent English language skills are required.
