Execute segmentation models, target groups and campaign deployment. Provide creative and technical expertise to improve the quality of emails distributed to existing and potential customers.Major Responsibilities:Develop dynamic emails, landing pages and forms within SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC) which may include responsive coding using HTML/CSSApply a high-level of creativity in the design and production of all NJR e-communications providing recommendation on how to improve customer engagement.Understand and apply digital best practices in email development, deployment and compliance.Assist with NJRs digital marketing transformation efforts through widescale adoption of SMC. Develop trust-based relationships with key stakeholders to provide strategy, testing, deployment and campaign guidance to meet their goals.Perform testing to ensure identical rendering across browsers and devices.Ensure all creative work is aligned with brand, legal guidelines, and proof for quality assurance.Collaborate on strategic initiatives, presenting solutions and innovative ideas in the ongoing development of e-marketing/communication programs.Develop and manage monthly email deployment calendar and coordinate with Corporate Communications to mitigate email fatigue and business unit bottlenecks/overlap. Monitor overall SMC email deployment schedule to ensure successful delivery.Collaborate with business units to develop micro segments and develop target groups to reach potential customers for email and direct mail campaigns.Upload required data using SMC Template Converter (Macro), including ongoing implementation and maintenance.Work with business units and IT to ensure successful upload of specialized target groups and third-party segmentation attributes.Ensure all deployed emails have assigned sender profiles, correct deployment categories (work with managed services to develop new profiles/categories) and are aligned with all CAN-SPAM requirements.Ensure emails are created in a manner that meets the needs for analyzing the performance of SMC activities including alternate subject lines, layout and body copy/image conditioning.Monitor emails and campaigns to determine defects and possible enhancements. Work with IT managed services team to mitigate and resolve system errors.Monitor SMC segmentation, targeting and campaign deployment activities including edge system integrations to ensure system functionality and performance.Collaborate with SMC email service provider and monitor sender score to ensure our reputation and emails are deployed successfully.Remain fully informed on market trends, research and implement best practices.Cross train Sr. Marketing Analyst for support.Position Specifications:Bachelors degree in relevant field (Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing), or equivalent experience required1-2 years experience developing emails, landing pages and forms within SAP Marketing Cloud Content Studio or similar CRM Marketing Cloud platform1-2 years experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or CanvaAbility to execute new e-templates that are fresh, “out-of-the-box,” and unique while still adhering to overarching brand standardsThorough understanding of electronic communications best practices and optimization of techniques to achieve high customer engagementAbility to manage multiple projects at the same time under tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with an eye for consistency and accuracySelf-starter and self-motivated, requiring minimal day-to-day supervision* The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary.New Jersey Resources is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
