Avera Marshall Full-Time MLT/MT/MLS in Wagner, South Dakota
$15,000 sign-on bonus with 3-year commitment
$10,000 retention bonus after 3 years of employment
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the expeditious and accurate performance and reporting of clinical laboratory tests, record keeping, preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Medical Lab Technician: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required Starting Wage of $24 per hour
Medical Technologist/Medial Lab Scientist: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year degree program require
Starting Wage of $31 per hour
Additional compensation considered for all positions based on experience
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) Certificate or other verifying documentation of passing the certification test is required
Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program is required
SCHEDULE:
Full-time (72 hours per pay period) with rotating shifts along with rotating night, holiday, and weekend call
