Select Genetics Stud Farm Lab Technician in Wadesboro, North Carolina

This position aims to work in a team environment and provide relentless support to the Farm Manager, the Milkers, and the Semen Driver to produce high-quality semen for the receiving Farms while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitized facility.
Some of the requirements for The Stud Farm Lab Tech are:
Must be both coachable and teachable.
An organizer and able to prioritize.
Detailed oriented.
Must be able to distinguish good from lousy semen via microscope.
Good written and verbal communication.
Good reading and basic math are essential.
Wash and disinfect turkey production facilities in a safe and organized manner.
Willingness to wash, dry, fold, and place the Milker's clothes in their lockers for the next day.
Maintain a clean and sanitized lab, showers, restrooms, and breakroom.
Follow company policies and procedures; follow the company's biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety guidelines.
Work productively in a team environment and be willing to help in any area to get the job done.
Have the ability to do constant walking from the houses to the lab, bend, stoop, squat, pull, and lift 25 at least lbs.
Perform the job duties while constantly moving and using hands, occasionally lifting objects exposed to dust, cold, humidity, heat, chemicals, and fumes.
Work an extended workday (if/when needed).
