Job Description: The Market Intelligence Specialist plays a crucial role in the healthcare enterprise's growth team, focused on business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. Primary responsibility will be to harness data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions, support in identifying growth opportunities, and optimize operational efficiency. Major Responsibilities: 1. The Market Intelligence Specialist specializes in synthesis of multi-faceted advanced analysis, interpretation and communication of data as well as providing recommendations to executive leadership regarding directional strategy needed to drive organizational performance for the health system. Leads the design, development, and implementation of reporting solutions, including quantitative research projects, to advance organization data intelligence. Aligns cross functionally to ensure appropriate team involvement in achieving the business growth visions and strategic objectives. 2. Collaborate with the business growth teams to evaluate opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide data-driven recommendations. Partners with enterprise, regional and service line leadership to develop and implement business intelligence solutions. 3. Business Analysis Planning: Construct the business analysis approach for projects, define the deliverables, estimate business analysis effort, and formulate metrics to be used to monitor the success of analysis work to benefit the organization. 4. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential threats or opportunities. 5. Business Intelligence: Manage business functional knowledge, data source knowledge and business intelligence concept knowledge to ascertain relevant questions and guide optimal solutions. 6. Data Analysis: Facilitate internal and external data analytics and market research initiatives used in competitive analysis to be utilized for enterprise, regional, and service line strategic planning efforts. 7. Data Visualization and Storytelling: Create visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders effectively. Utilizing GIS, or similar mapping tools, create interactive maps and spatial models. Transform complex data into visually engaging and easy-to-understand maps and infographics. 8. Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key departmental and organizational performance metrics, benchmarks, and targets. 9. Supports Master Facility Planning and Real Estate Functions: Analyze data related to real estate operations and market analytics to inform decisions regarding facility optimization, expansion, and inorganic growth initiatives. 10. Ascertains opportunities for process improvements either in existing patient experience designs or by adopting new functionalities available. Monitors an enhances the quality of data, analysis, and reporting. 11. Maintains the state hospital association data sets. 12. Resource for ad-hoc reports needed to conduct data analysis and validation to support various teams. 13. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested. Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. DESIRED Master's degree in Statistics, Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration or Research Methodology or related field. Work Experience: REQUIRED 3-4 years of experience in a professional field working with data analysis DESIRED 3-4 years in statistical analysis, data interpretation, ad hoc query reporting, or syndicated research tools. Experience within design and development environments such as SQL, Power BI or Tableau.
