Robert Half Credit/Collections/AR Supervisor/Manager in Vonore, Tennessee

Description

We are searching for a Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Vonore, Tennessee. This role involves overseeing the credit/collections/accounts receivables process in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing aging and days outstanding, setting policies and credit terms, performing collections and accounts receivables, and working with the commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess aging and days outstanding to ensure efficient credit control

• Process credit applications and set credit policies and terms

• Manage collections and accounts receivables to maintain cash flow

• Assist with posting payments to ensure accurate financial records

• Work with the commercial teams to establish processes for credit terms, credit holds, and credit increases

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient and accurate processing

• Monitor customer credit limits and take appropriate action for delinquent payments

• Use Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Table for reporting and data analysis

• Evaluate and approve credit applications in line with company policy

• Provide KPI reporting on credit and accounts receivables.

Requirements • Minimum of three years experience in a Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager role or similar position

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP solutions

• Demonstrated abilities in managing accounts receivable (AR) and billing functions

• Deep understanding of collection processes and credit

• Experience in setting credit limits and approving credit applications

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus

• Familiarity with credit policies and procedures

• Ability to generate and analyze KPI reports

• Experience in handling aging accounts and preparing aging reports

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
