ICONMA, LLC Test Technician in United States
In this role, you will work with a team of technician(s) to test, troubleshoot and help to resolve issues on various types of hardware ranging from missile guidance sets, full-up missiles, launch containers, and large wheeled and tracked military vehicles.
Tests may involve any manner of variables, including but not limited to pressure, vacuum, load testing, electronic and physical functionality, and hydraulic/pneumatic operations.
Processes may include the use of hand tools to maintain test equipment, install missile or vehicle components, and mate/demate electronic contacts and cables.
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field OR equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to work in an Explosive environment.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)
Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters
Familiarity with the mate/demate of electrical contacts and connectors
Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles
Desired Skills:
ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance (US Citizenship is required due to export compliance)
Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000 systems a plus
Basic blueprint reading/understanding of schematics a plus
Familiarity with MS Office Suite a plus
