Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced IT Manager of Digital Services and Engineering to lead the development and delivery of our digital services and engineering initiatives. This critical role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution partnering with the Digital Business Product Team, ensuring the creation and maintenance of innovation, scalable, and reliable digital solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical skill, leadership capabilities and a passion for driving digital transformation through engineering innovation.

Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the digital services and engineering team, providing mentorship and support to achieve department goals and objectives.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
Project Management: Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and support in the areas of software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure.
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by staying abreast of the latest technological trends and integrating them into the company's digital services.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated digital solutions.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
Compliance: Ensure all digital services and engineering activities align with relevant regulations and standards.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to ensure the department's success and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on digital services and engineering is preferred
Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development, system architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing sophisticated digital projects from inception to completion.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of IT professionals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Innovation: A passion for innovation and staying current with technological advancements.
Certifications: Relevant IT certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and strategies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Working Conditions
Full-time position.
Office environment with potential for remote work.
May require occasional travel.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $136,000 - $180,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
