The LiveAnalytics team is a market leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients. Some examples our product suite include prospecting models, brand affinity models, venue-selection models, season ticket retention models, pricing models and economic impact studies. The list goes on and there are more requests every day.

THE JOB

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst who is passionate about building the next generation of analytical products in live entertainment. We’re excited to find someone who enjoys taking complex data situations and bringing the insights to life with compelling visuals and stories. This role will be responsible for working on some of the most interesting and challenging problems in the sports, arts, family, and concert areas our clients face, and you will have the opportunity to take our data-driven insights, convert them to recommendations and communicate those recommendations directly to our clients. Furthermore, this role will partner closely with key team members across leadership to help create new and innovative product solutions and find opportunities for process optimization. Additionally, this role is expected to work with various internal stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions, while having the opportunity to build models and see them all the way into production.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Working directly with the business, product, and engineering teams, Ideate and build proof of concepts for client-facing analytical tools and products.

  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.

  • Interact with internal and external clients to develop hypotheses, scope project requirements, formulate and execution analyses, and present results and recommendations.

  • Create and maintain dashboards utilizing Amazon Quicksight.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serve as resident expert in statistical analysis, including model development, validation, and maintenance.

  • Query, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources and structures and carry out data cleansing and normalization tasks to ensure data integrity.

  • Construct models to predict consumer behavior, propensities, preferences, lifetime value, and retention.

  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

  • Work with internal data engineering team to automate model implementation.

  • Our job descriptions evolve with our business need and priorities. In addition to the description above, your role may include additional projects and team support as needed.

  • Develop and maintain online dashboard summaries of data and campaign performance to facilitate learning and decision-making.

  • Present results, insights, recommendations to internal and external clients.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Economics or other related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using statistical and computer languages such as Python, R, Java, AWS, and so on.

  • Exceptional SQL skills.

  • Able to communicate complex analytics results and insights to less technical audience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools, Amazon Quicksight a plus.

  • Experience with database management and data architecture, Databricks a plus!

  • Strong understanding of all facets of Database Marketing and Dynamic Pricing.

  • Extensive experience with PowerPoint and Excel functions and formulas.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$91,000.00 USD - $114,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
