Numerator Software Engineer in United States
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and experience in support and incident management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications while ensuring smooth incident resolution and system performance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents to ensure system stability.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
Optimize database queries and enhance application performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and support processes.
Work closely with stakeholders to enhance and modify existing applications.
Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of experience in software development and support.
Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and VB.
Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Hands-on experience in incident management and troubleshooting.
Understanding of ITIL processes related to support and incident handling.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
