Locations: Philadelphia, PA and Jersey City,NJ Job Summary: The role is responsible for designing digital experiences to solve customer problems by bringing together user experience and creative design. S/he will drive the design to create intuitive solutions, bettering the design and usability of our clients digital solutions and guiding user-centered methodologies from strategy, research, design and user testing. Job responsibilities:

  • The UX/UI Designer role is an independent contributor who will be playing a well-rounded product designer role as per industry standards. Closely working with the design director (i.e., domain design lead), the person will be leading the full a Telecommunications and Media company of product design activities within the assigned pod, in our agile delivery model.

  • The person will be responsible to identify the experience design needs, define the design strategy, and deliver the UX/UI design services under the guidance of the domain design lead.

  • Lead the lo-fi / hi-fi wireframing activities and produce prototype links for socialization.

  • Follow the existing responsive logic and produce adaptive design screens as well as provide UI implementation support across different platforms and sites.

  • Deliver and iterate a reusable visual design and user experience framework to be used across business units.

  • Illustrate design ideas using collaboration design tool such as Figma.

  • Connect design strategy to business results.

  • Experience with an iterative design process, and a recognition that the first design is rarely the final design (i.e., MVP mindset)

  • Experience in the full a Telecommunications and Media company of UX/UI design activities, which includes UX research, wireframing, high-fidelity UI design, user testing/validation and UI development handoff. Especially the person has a good understanding of the design implementation as opposed to just delivering a proof of concept (POC) design.

  • Ability to facilitate design feedback/review sessions with business leads, developers and other non-designers. Strong communication skills, with the confidence to explain design approaches or technical details to diverse groups of people

  • Proficient in collaborative design tools such as Figma, Miro, etc.

  • Experience with responsive design and UI handoff

  • Ability and willingness to learn Agile ways of working

  • Background in designing mobile and web applications OR Masters/Bachelors/Associates degree in graphic design, computer science, design, fine arts, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated UI/UX experience

    Experience: 5 + years of UX/UI or product design experience.
