Position: Senior Sales Learning Experience Designer

Job Description:

Forward Air is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Sales Learning Experience Designer to support the creation, coordination, and implementation of learning initiatives across our sales team. This individual will work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to design effective training content, manage program logistics, and track outcomes. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others grow, has an eye for detail, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist in the design and development of engaging training materials (presentations, guides, eLearning, videos, etc.)

  • Support the creation of soft skill and hard skill training modules under the guidance of the Learning & Development (L&D) Manager

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture and translate knowledge into learner-friendly content

  • Help script, edit, and host internal podcasts, videos, or knowledge-sharing formats

  • Support the onboarding experience for new sales hires by coordinating logistics, schedules, and onboarding materials

  • Maintain updated onboarding assets and checklists across systems and repositories

  • Coordinate recurring training events, including calendar invites, tech setup, communication, and materials distribution

  • Administer courses in the learning management system (LMS), track learner progress, and troubleshoot user issues

  • Maintain and update training content within the LMS or other digital platforms

  • Track participation, assessment results, and learner feedback to measure program effectiveness

  • Compile training analytics and insights for program evaluation and reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and completions

  • Support collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Product, HR, and Operations teams on L&D initiatives

  • Serve as a resource for learners and managers, addressing training questions and requests

  • Stay informed on learning trends and technologies to support continuous improvement

  • Help maintain standardized Quarterly Business Review (QBR) templates and training resources

  • Support the delivery of QBR best practices training across the sales team

  • Assist in the ongoing execution of the Account Sponsorship Program by tracking participation and supporting communication needs

  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, HR, Business, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in a learning & development, training, or instructional support role (sales or enablement context is a plus)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for content creation and editing

  • Proficiency with learning tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Articulate, Rise, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills

  • Experience in supporting adult learning, onboarding programs, or sales training initiatives

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and enablement platforms

  • Advanced knowledge of podcast or video production/editing

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
