Senior Project Manager

POSITION PROFILE

Assume leadership and accountability for successful cross-functional, complex Marketing and enterprise level projects/initiatives, including completion on time, on budget, and achieving the targeted results. This includes working effectively with leadership at all levels across many functional groups (Marketing, Information Technology, Customer Administration, Finance, Digital Service Center, Service Delivery, Sales, etc.) and other resources in a collaborative manner to analyze issues and drive initiatives to achieve business goals and objectives. In addition to project/initiative leadership, this role will provide regular readouts to senior leadership on progress, status, risks, etc.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure proper project scope, financial measures, project planning, communications, resources, results, and overall project quality · develop metrics, goals and commitments for assigned projects/initiatives.

  • Clearly communicate and clarify purpose, goals, and expectations in a way that positively influences people and events.

  • Coordinate efforts and set priorities with project team and management to meet project objectives.

  • Work with leadership across all applicable functions to identify and select project team members for assigned projects.

  • Leverage appropriate project management and/or process improvement concepts and tools to successfully manage the project/initiative and achieve the target results.

  • Regularly review project metrics and timeline to ensure appropriate progress, especially related to critical path activities and longer-term projects / initiatives.

  • Provide project direction and matrix leadership to project team members and other supporting groups to ensure progress and accomplish objectives.

  • Hold self and project team responsible for individual tasks assigned and overall project success.

  • Provide leadership for implementation of changes/improvements by working with the applicable leaders and/or operational teams · drive change management and issue resolution related to functional area of responsibility.

  • Encourage and build positive relationships and communicate effectively with all involved leaders, stakeholders, participants, and others impacted.

  • Collaborate with other others to overcome risks and challenges; build project team morale and productivity encouraging respect for, and capitalizing on, team differences and varying perspectives.

  • Build constructive and effective relationships; use diplomacy and tact; truly value people; defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.

  • Prepare and deliver leadership presentations and regular status updates related to assigned projects/initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

Typically Requires:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Min 5 years of experience in managing people.

  • Min of 5 years of experience managing products/processes.

  • Requires min 5 years of experience and significant depth of knowledge in the business area responsible for.

  • Requires min 7-10 years of experience with international manufacturing or services/solutions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experienced in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives while demonstrating effective planning skills and abilities.

  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously - strong multi-tasking skills

  • Must be able to understand internal and external customers by interpreting verbal and non-verbal behavior.

  • Must have excellent oral communication skills to clearly present information through the spoken word in positive and negative circumstances.

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

  • Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.

Additional Pay Details

Compensation Range

$110,000 - $125,000 per Year
