HarperCollins Publishers Senior Payroll Administrator in United States

Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to work with auditors, maintain payroll related account reconciliations, process payroll and assist employees with pay and tax inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains payroll related account reconciliations.

  • Administers SOX testing.

  • Prepares monthly journal entries.

  • Works with internal and external auditors.

  • Assists with processing of multiple payrolls – including data input, special payments, taxes, and balance reports.

  • Assists in testing payroll system updates, enhancements, etc. for the UKG payroll system.

  • Develops reports using the UKG reporting system for outside agencies.

  • Assists employees with pay and tax inquires.

  • Handles confidential records in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years payroll experience required

  • Degree in accounting preferred, or relevant experience

  • Prior payroll tax and accounting experience preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

  • Strong communication skills

  • Web based payroll experience preferred

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.
