Summary The CDC utilize Direct Hire Authority to fill vacancies in a variety of occupations. The vacancy is a REPOSITORY of applications. Applications may be periodically referred to hiring managers both during the open period and after the closing date. Responsibilities This public notice covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing IT Specialist (INFOSEC) work. Duties and responsibilities vary and may increase according to the grade level and series of the position. This public notice will be used to fill IT Specialist (INFOSEC) positions listed at the grade levels listed below: IT Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210. Grades 9-15 Requirements Conditions of Employment US Citizenship is required. Information Technology Management Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower GS level in which you are applying for. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional Information The salary listed is Rest of U.S. Locality pay will be adjusted to reflect location after selection. Salary may be adjusted to include a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) of 2.86% for Anchorage, Alaska, 10.28% for Honolulu, Hawaii, and 3.13% for Puerto Rico.
