JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Designs, develops, and executes objectives of the corporate FP&A group. Manager role, responsible for leading a team that develops financial analytics of internal and external data, variance analysis, drivers analysis, scenarios analysis, modeling and forecasting & budgeting.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Manages timely submission of analytics and reports required for the FP&A function

  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity and completeness of financial data and information contained in reports

  • Reviews and develops when necessary, analysis of financial trends and results of both internal and external data

  • Oversees and develops when necessary, forecasts and budgets to project future capital spend and/or profitability

  • Assesses and develops models to evaluate risk and return of various business scenarios

  • Effectively communicates findings to senior management and customers

  • Leads effort to automate, streamline and improve processes required to carry out items mentioned in 1 through 6

  • Reviews and approves documentation that supports departmental policies and procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

BA, BS, in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Required Experience

  • 6-9 years of finance / accounting experience in national CPA firm or a Fortune 500 company

  • 4 years plus experience in a Finance or FP&A setting with increasingly complex financial analysis and modeling.

Preferred Experience

  • Health insurance industry experience

  • Experience with Hyperion, Cognos or similar specialized financial analytics software

  • 2 years plus supervisory experience

Preferred License, Certification, Association

CPA or CMA or CFA and / or MBA

Pay Range: $72,370.82 - $156,803.45 / ANNUAL
