Job Title: IT Manager - Systems/ Security Engineering Job Function: Provide support for network infrastructure, security, cloud, and other ongoing IT projects as needed. Job Type: Full time permanent Location: Primarily remote, but the candidate should be local to NYC/ NJ as the client has offices in Manhattan and Eatontown, NJ. Compensation Range: Base Salary - up to $145,000 + bonus eligible communserate with experience Scope of Job: Our client is recognized as a leading Clinical Research Organization, and this role will provide support for their network infrastructure, security, cloud, and ongoing IT projects (related to IT itself, but also to projects that may involve clinical trials). There is also a planned initiative to move to AWS from their current collocated datacenter arrangement, so any experience leading this kind of initiative would be given a strong preference. Responsibilities:

• Provide extensive support for network infrastructure, security, cloud, and ongoing IT projects (related to IT itself, but also to projects that may involve clinical trials.)

• Manage the transition from the collocated data center to AWS.

• Manage the AWS Cloud hosting platform.

• Lead the architecture and security management of AWS security technologies and strategy.

• Provide subject matter knowledge with Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, and Windows 10/11 with an emphasis in system security policies.

• Provide comprehensive security, threat analysis consultation to business unit, IT management and cloud services management staff at the highest technical level and drive processes that drive the platform security policies, patterns, and roadmap.

• Provide support for O365 as well as guide and supervise both internal and external technical teams on the design, build and deployment of O365 including system administration to support existing and future systems to enable seamless integration into the company's environments.

  Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working in IT with an emphasis on Systems/ Cloud Security engineering.

• Hands on experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Security Engineer.

• Hands on experience with Active Directory, MS Windows Server, Windows 10/11 Pro, Office 365, and SharePoint.

• Hands on experience with AWS and AWS Security Best Practices.

• Good knowledge of Cisco Meraki and network infrastructure.

• Experience implementing data protection, and threat protection in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including strong expertise in Active Directory.

  Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
