The Content Creator Sr. (Technical Writer) is responsible for developing high quality, standards-based learning content for Infinite Campus products. This learning content must be presented in multiple formats, such as text, video, and simulation, to meet the needs and learning styles of end users. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in development of content strategy.
Identify processes and opportunities for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy
Collaborate on content governance: work with other teams to develop standards for content governance and management
Ensure quality of output: establish and enforce content standards and guidelines to maintain high-quality output
Identify content gaps: ensure comprehensive coverage of our products in our knowledge base and internal wiki
Measure impact: analyze user feedback and engagement metrics to assess the effective ness of our content
Work closely with development team to understand product functionality.
Design and develop learning content for product functionality such that it is understanding to a wide array of end users numbering in the millions.
Review, edit, and update existing content to keep it aligned with evolving product functionality.
Participate in product testing.
Access Infinite Campus product customer data in testing sites adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines
Other related duties as assigned
Desired Background
BA/BS required or 5 years of relevant industry experience
Adult learning content design and development
Writing experience preferred
Experience using learning content creation tools, office productivity suite, wiki, online learning tools, or comparable software products
Dynamic professional with experience in one or more of the following areas: technical writing, instructional design, adult-learning or as a K12 employee.
