Summary:

Global marketing role responsible for supporting market segment business strategy and execution plan. Drives solutions for aftermarket products and services into global distribution channels to achieve business objectives for revenue, margin, and market share. Establishes life cycle product pricing strategy to maximize profitability within segment. Generates product position messaging and competitive analysis. Motivates, supports, trains, and guides global sales and customer service teams, and multi-level distribution channels to deliver differentiation messaging to customers. "Evangelist" to internal Sales, external Reps and to Clients, Press and at Trade Show events for segment solutions, key benefits, value proposition, and competitive differentiation.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Analyze aftermarket customer needs to identify strategic growth opportunities, and drive penetration strategy.

  • Perform competitive analyses and establish pricing strategy/positioning for products and services.

  • Development of marketing collateral; deployment and training on value proposition.

  • Identify / prioritize aftermarket tooling solutions with engineering.

  • Motivate, support, train, and guide cross functional teams, including internal sales teams and distribution channels, in a matrix organization.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred; MBA is highly desirable.

  • 3+ years’ experience with aftermarket solution offerings for high technology capital equipment is desirable.

  • Experience working in and strong understanding of international customers/culture.

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with ability to make effective customer presentations.

  • <10% travel. (domestic and international)

    Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality

  • Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures and uses Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem solving tools to continuously improve work processes.

    Physical Demands

  • Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis.

  • Position requires the ability to understand and interpret detailed documents and drawings.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with fellow colleagues and in giving presentations.

  • The ability to travel to customer sites or technical conferences may occasionally be required.

    Target Annual Base Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 + Robust Benefits

    NOTE : Compensation Range Will Vary Based on Geography & Market Cost of Living
