Numerator Business Analyst in United States

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with 7-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and business process analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills to facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, development teams, and product owners.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities.

  • Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.

  • Utilize Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.) to track and manage work progress.

  • Conduct process analysis and recommend improvements to optimize workflows and efficiency.

  • Identify and resolve roadblocks, dependencies, and conflicts within Agile teams.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating requirements and ensuring quality deliverables.

  • Analyze data trends and business insights to support decision-making and process enhancements.

  • Facilitate discussions between stakeholders to drive consensus on project scope and priorities.

  • Document and maintain business process models, workflows, and functional specifications.

  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure Agile best practices are followed and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and Agile methodologies to enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in Business Analysis or a similar role.

  • Proven experience working in Agile environments and a solid understanding of Scrum frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certification in Agile/Scrum (CSM, ACP, or similar) is a plus.
