Modivcare Automated Communications Software Engineer in United States

You will be responsible for supporting the technical direction and oversight of our cutting-edge Contact Center technologies such as IVR, IVA, chat, Call Flow, and other digital channels. As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for data analysis, recommendations and design. You will also play a key role in improving the interaction between the business and IT by identifying and developing strategic Automated Communication recommendations that leverage the advancement of the architecture roadmap through innovative solutions that future proof the architecture. To be successful in this role, you must be well-versed in third-party/cloud solutions and have a track record of leading successful integrations of modern technologies.

This role...

  • Works with business owners and IT support staff to create and implement software products.

  • Responsible for documenting design in functional and design specifications to ensure the product handles the users' needs.

  • Codes the software components to complete the project.

  • Effectively unit tests their work and then partners with the Quality Assurance group to test and fix bugs in the software.

  • Works with the IT Network group and end users to install the software and must follow up with end users to ensure the application is working properly.

  • Seeks help when they have questions or issues that need to be resolved.

  • Develops and maintains business applications in client-server or web-based environments.

  • Conducts design and requirement meetings with peer engineers and business stakeholders.

  • Writes functional and design documentation as needed

  • Works with senior development staff to develop overall design of new systems, modules and data layouts.

  • Implements a coding strategy and design that meets the goals and timeline set forth in the requirements planning session.

  • Works with the quality assurance staff to resolve issues found in testing.

  • Provides assistance in the creation and development of user documentation

  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

  • Occasional business travel may be required.

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar engineering field required.

  • Zero (0) plus years of experience.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Proficient in the application development tools being used by the organization to develop new software including programming languages and reporting tools.

  • Works well with others and be responsive to the business needs.

  • Strong ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.

  • Excellent ability to communicate in writing, clearly and concisely.

  • Excellent ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.

  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.

  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.

  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.

  • Driven ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.

Salary: $67,500.00 - 92,800.00
