Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager, Savory

We are looking for a confident and experienced manager who can partner with multiple departments in the creation of market relevant solutions to grow market share. Has good project management competence to champion an effective big bets process. Highly skilled in market and trends analysis, able to identify market gaps and with an innovative mindset in providing value improvement products to defend market positions. The Business Development Manager reports to the Senior Director, BU Savoury, Asia

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the category strategy by identifying growth opportunities in Savory segment.

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product development roadmap, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning and deployment to customers.

  • Implement category plans by leading regional promotions and innovation days with clients in the region.

  • Build compelling storyline by integrating sensory and consumer insights, technology, and innovation to offer unique value proposition for the clients.

  • Tracking of category vitality monthly and the promotion effectiveness on a quarterly basis with corrective actions when required

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Sales & Marketing/Food Science/Chemistry

  • Minimum 10 years of marketing and/or sales experiences

  • Brand understanding and Brand concepts development

  • Good sense in acquiring industry knowledge and market information

  • Good analytical skill, capable of doing in-depth analysis, providing in-sight to industry trends, market needs and possible packages to address gaps identified

  • Excellent presentation, communication, organization, time management, and new business/sales development skills

  • Result-oriented, strong business development and project management skills
