IHG Guest Services Agent (Club Lounge) in Singapore

Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is looking for a Guest Services Agent (Club Lounge) who is hands on, worldly in their outlook and performs with flair; someone who knows what it takes to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Front Office Duties:

• Assist the Guest Services Supervisor to upsell premier room guests to club room

• Take care of cash float and ensure it has the amount of cash specified by supervisors/manager at the end of the shift

• Retrieve and print Arrival/Departure Report, Backup Report and Trace Report from Opera PMS for supervisor to do room allocation daily

• Greet, register guests and confirm their particulars and payment details when they check in. Issue keys to guests

• Print and confirm details of payment and bill for guests when they check out

• Explain hotel's facilities and their location to orientate guests

• Interact with guests at the lobby when not occupied with check in/out duties at the reception

• Answer any guests' enquiries when they come to the reception desk

• Handle guests' complaints or direct them to DM

• Encourage guests to pay the check out bill by credit card in their home currency to meet DCC targets

Food & Beverage Duties:

• Prepare buffet set-up for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktail at the Club Lounge

• Maintain the cleanliness of the Club Lounge and the pantry area

• Provide host or hostess service to our Club paying guest at the Club Lounge

• Attends to guest’s inquiries and requests and if there is a complaint that needs assistance

• Ensure all Club guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of the hotel’s services

• Gather and ensure high Guest love scores from all Club guests

• Drive Tripadvisor reviews to consistently improve Tripadvisor ranking in Singapore

What We Need From You

• Prior experience with general knowledge of front office operations will be an advantage

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company

• Able to read, write and communicate in English

• Excellent communication, team management skills and service orientation

• Computer literate
