This position is a hands-on role, integrated in an energetic growing team where the primary role will be to take care of the company IT Infrastructure. As a Monitoring Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our organization's IT infrastructure and services. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems that track the health and performance of our systems, applications, and network components.

We are looking for a team player, willing to collaborate and learn in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently with high self-motivation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement monitoring solutions to track theperformance and availability of servers, databases, and othercriticalinfrastructurecomponents.

• Managenetwork monitoring tools to track the status and performance of networkdevices

• Monitor theperformance of software applications to identifyissuesthatcouldaffect end-user experience. Collaboratewithapplicationdevelopmentteams to optimizeperformance and troubleshootissues

• Define, configure, and maintainalertingthresholds and notificationto promptlyidentify and addressissues

• Create and maintainreports and dashboardsthatprovideinsightsintosystemperformance and trends

• Providetraining and guidance to teams on thebestproperuse of monitoring tools and bestpractices

• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams to ensuretheseamlessoperation of IT systems and ensureallinfrasctruture are covered

• Maintaindocumentationrelated to monitoring configurations and procedures

   

*About You *

• Curious, have a good aptitude for learning and enjoy variety, with opportunities to work with a variety of technologies and systems

• Proficiency in using monitoring tools and frameworks

• Excellentproblem-solving and troubleshootingskills

• Ability to work as part of aninternational team, as well as being part of a localmarket team

• Bonus pointsforknowledge in Ansible

• Strong bias for action and ownership

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal.

Language Skills

• English – Fluent

• Portuguese (if not a native speaker)

• Other languages can be a plus
