Vectrus Property Accountability Lead in Philippines

Overview

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP

Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Property Accountability Lead m aintains records and control of all Vectrus Owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP) and materials on the LOGCAP Contract in accordance with applicable government regulations, supplements by agency unique regulations, company procedures or government relations. Contract support services provide U.S. Army operational project (OPROJ) capabilities in response to Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief (HA/DR) events, as well as supporting execution of annual exercises through the storage of non-lethal stocks, exercise materiel, and equipment in the Philippines. This position maintains records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held and disposed; coordinates property transfers; conducts periodic property inventories; and prepares reports of property status. Assist with the investigation and reports all cases of loss, damage or destruction of Vectrus owned or Government property.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains records and control of all Vectrus Owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP) on the LOGCAP Contract in accordance with applicable government regulations, supplements by agency unique regulations; company procedures or government relations.

  • Assist with the investigation and reports all cases of loss, damage or destruction of Vectrus owned or Government property.

  • Performs Job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and five (5) years of experience or Associate's degree and three (3) years experience. Must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcript.

  • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License, is required.

  • Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in government property management or related field. Experience with GCCS-Army, IBM Maximo and Automated Property Management Systems highly desired.

  • Skills:

  • Read, write, and speak English at proficiency level 3

  • Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills.

  • Must feel comfortable delegating and possess skills to include scheduling workers, keeping track of staffing and keeping their staff motivated.

  • The most significant experience is education or training from work experience in a related occupation.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Light work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
