UL, LLC Corporate Fleet Coordinator in Netherlands

As a Fleet Manager, you will implement and manage fleet policies, review contracts, assist with local negotiations, and oversee onboarding activities, including vehicle assignments. You'll provide solutions and resources to fleet drivers and their managers, aggregate and analyze fleet data to support KPIs, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve fuel efficiency. Your role includes developing a centralized fleet management program, ensuring compliance with local laws, handling accident reports and insurance requirements, and supporting process improvement initiatives. You may lead projects within UL fleet management, work independently, establish procedures for potential problems, adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and perform additional duties as directed

Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Policy Management: Implement and manage fleet policies, recommending updates as needed.

  • Contract Review & Negotiation: Review contracts, assist with local negotiations, and manage onboarding activities, including vehicle assignment to drivers.

  • Problem Solving & Support: Provide solutions and resources to fleet drivers and their managers.

  • Data Analysis: Aggregate, review, and analyze fleet data to establish, support, and measure KPIs.

  • Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase profits, and improve fuel efficiency.

  • Process Mapping: Assist in developing a centralized, standardized fleet management program through process mapping.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations.

  • Accident & Insurance Management: Handle accident reports and insurance requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Support process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Project Leadership: Lead projects or project steps within UL fleet management.

  • Accountability: Be accountable for ongoing fleet activities and objectives.

  • Independent Work: Work independently with minimal guidance.

  • Procedure Establishment: Develop situational procedures for potential problems and scenarios.

  • Code of Conduct: Adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Process Mapping & Improvement: Experience in process mapping, analysis, and improvement is advantageous.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in fleet management.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP and BI systems for technical, transactional, and reporting tasks is beneficial.

  • Soft Skills: Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a mindset geared towards change.

  • Team Player: A focused, versatile, and communicative team player, comfortable with supporting change management and project implementation from start to finish.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Time Management: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Office 360.

  • Valid driver's license.
