Dell Analyst, Marketing Operations in Malaysia

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Before we can drive human progress with our game-changing products we must first attract human attention. Marketing Operations teams are integral to shaping our approach. They work in close partnership with teams that specialize in segment marketing, global operations, product management, customer relationship marketing and finance.

The purpose of the role is to manage end to end vendor funds compliance in accordance with the terms and conditions in cooperative marketing agreements. In addition to working tightly with the partner managers, the candidate will work closely with marketing, finance, accounting and planning teams to manage compliance pre-approvals and audits of partner funded marketing assets. Part of your responsibilities include coordinating training and regional communications to promote stakeholders continuous learning and reviewing creatives to ensure our activities comply to Microsoft’s branding guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure creatives are reviewed in a compliant & timely manner for Microsoft (MSFT) programs (Jumpstart OS, Jumpstart Server).

  • Manage compliance consultation to maximize the value and number of compliant activities.

  • Work closely with the partner management planners and partner brand managers to be aware of partner funded quarterly plans.

  • Coordinate training and regional communications to promote continuous education about processes and partner's requirements.

  • Support process improvements to facilitate efficient compliance consultation processes.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the discipline or some experience in marketing, finance, compliance, process improvement, training coordination, co-marketing execution, stakeholder management and/or project management is a plus.

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.

  • Additional language skills are an advantage.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal customers and external partners.

  • High self-discipline to manage workload, multi-task and deliver results independently.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Highly proficient in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
