You provide software and applications expertise, and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.

How you will contribute

You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

Overview: Provides direction to help teams deliver a cohesive Product that aligns with business vision with the objective to migrate current SAP-ECC Latin America instance to S4 Hana.. Owns Transportation scope with Business leads (local, regional and globally) according to global standards to ensure LA implementation and scope will be migrated with success. Co lead and manage technology solutions. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance efficiency, improve data management, and support overall business objectives.

Key Relationships: Business Owner, Product Owner, Delivery Lead, IT Lead, Solution Delivery Leads, Data Steward, Master Data Governance – S4 Hana Program

  • Synthesize inputs gathered from a variety of sources into a cohesive product vision.

  • Expert industry and product knowledge.

  • Drive consensus across multiple parties with conflicting views.

  • Take a pragmatic/economic view while prioritizing functionality – make sacrifices for the bigger picture.

  • Forward-thinking and able to proactively identify risks, and weigh resulting impacts.

  • Champion the project solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community.

  • Owns data – approves standards to ensure fit for purpose data for the organization

  • Resolve cross process issues

  • Provide business resources to support data governance

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies that support transportation goals and enhance service delivery.

Lead IT projects related to transportation systems, including planning, execution, and evaluation.

  • Assess and improve existing transportation technologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to align technology initiatives with business needs.

-Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

  • Deploy and maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and related software applications.

  • Ensure system functionality meets operational requirements and industry standards.

  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to transportation technology.

  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates or enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Transportation Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in IT management within the transportation industry.

  • Strong understanding of transportation systems and technology trends such as Oracle Transportation Management and SAP TM (LE-TRA)

  • Integration knowledge between OTM and SAP

  • SAP ECC and S4Hana Sales and Distribution strong knowledge

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools.

  • Experience with data analytics and reporting.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in transportation.

  • Transportation Certificates (desirable)

  • Proven experience in IT management within the transportation industry (6-8 years).
