Job Title: Application Specialist - Digital Pathology - South Italy

As an Application Specialist at Epredia, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by aligning our solutions with customer needs and budgets. You'll conduct product demonstrations, manage installations, and deliver comprehensive training to end-users. Engaging with stakeholders across the sales cycle, including Pathologists and Biomedical Engineers, you'll provide expert after-sales support and contribute to maximizing deal success through technical expertise and commercial acumen in tender and quotation preparation.

Location: South Italy

This role requires traveling capacity throughout the South Italy territory and occasional international travel.

What you will do:

  • Support the sales team to successfully position Epredia solutions to address performance, workflow and customer’s budget requirements.

  • Manage customer demonstrations of products leveraging presentation skills, both instruments and software, and customer site visits as required in supporting the customers and the sales team, including managing installations and delivery of product training to end-users.

  • Engage with all stakeholders and decision makers in the sales cycle, like Pathologists, Biomedical Engineers, and Administration personnel.

  • Provide effective and timely customer after-sales support (including troubleshooting, advices and problem solving) for all products and applications.

  • Support the commercial team in preparing tenders and quotations to customers, providing technical advices and commercial expertise to maximize the deals win ratio.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Understanding of Digital Pathology and AI methods for Pathology, applications and procedures, or Anatomic-Pathology Laboratory workflow.

  • Master’s Degree in Laboratory Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineer, or related field is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in Application Specialist role or prior experience working in a Laboratory of Anatomo-Pathology is essential.

  • Fluency in English – both verbal and written required.

  • Valid driving license is required.

  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency is required.

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Self-motivation, time management and planning are essential requirements.
