What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
Build and maintain internal tools to streamline data delivery to our SIEM
Update, configure, and deploy our SIEM and other systems we manage
Onboard new log sources to our SIEM and data lakes
Write high-quality, well-tested code to deliver reliable and scalable services
Show bias for action and data-driven decisions to prototype new solutions as fast as possible
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
You write code to build new tools or support existing ones
Fluency in a modern programming language (Golang, Python, Ruby, Rust, etc.)
You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
You're very comfortable communicating in English
You're passionate about computer security, networking, and infrastructure
Important: You do not need experience working with SIEM and SOAR to be considered for this position. This is a junior role and there will be on-the-job training.
Nice to haves:
Degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS/GCP
You have previous experience working with SIEM systems
You have experience executing technical tasks and projects end-to-end
You have experience with version control, branching, and collaboration on GitHub
You’ve worked on security teams in finance, tech, or government
Knowledge of fundamental DevOps practices, including unit testing and repository management
You’re an excellent writer.
