Ford Motor Company Sr.Analyst in India
TVM Target Achievement:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vehicle logistics, including transportation costs, delivery times, and damage rates.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track progress against TVM targets and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics data to identify root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, manufacturing, supply chain) to optimize vehicle flow and reduce costs.
Develop and implement strategies to improve vehicle delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.
Innovation Projects:
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions that can improve vehicle logistics operations.
Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to implement new technologies and processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed innovation projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and manage risks.
Pilot and scale successful innovation initiatives across the vehicle logistics network.
Contract Management:
Manage relationships with key vehicle logistics vendors, including transportation providers, port operators, and vehicle processing centers.
Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to discuss performance, identify areas for improvement, and negotiate contract terms.
Support the development and negotiation of new contracts with vehicle logistics vendors.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies related to vehicle logistics operations.
Innovation Projects:
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions that can improve vehicle logistics operations.
Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to implement new technologies and processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed innovation projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and manage risks.
Pilot and scale successful innovation initiatives across the vehicle logistics network
Education:
Bachelor's degree [Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science] required.
Master's degree in a related field would be an advantage
Experience:
810 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
Experience in the automotive industry or vehicle logistics preferred
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) required
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) a plus
Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management preferred
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of vehicle logistics processes and best practices.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
