Ford Motor Company Sr.Analyst in India

TVM Target Achievement:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vehicle logistics, including transportation costs, delivery times, and damage rates.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track progress against TVM targets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics data to identify root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, manufacturing, supply chain) to optimize vehicle flow and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve vehicle delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.

Innovation Projects:

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions that can improve vehicle logistics operations.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to implement new technologies and processes.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed innovation projects.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and manage risks.

  • Pilot and scale successful innovation initiatives across the vehicle logistics network.

Contract Management:

  • Manage relationships with key vehicle logistics vendors, including transportation providers, port operators, and vehicle processing centers.

  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to discuss performance, identify areas for improvement, and negotiate contract terms.

  • Support the development and negotiation of new contracts with vehicle logistics vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies related to vehicle logistics operations.

Innovation Projects:

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions that can improve vehicle logistics operations.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to implement new technologies and processes.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed innovation projects.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and manage risks.

  • Pilot and scale successful innovation initiatives across the vehicle logistics network

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree [Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science] required.

  • Master's degree in a related field would be an advantage

Experience:

  • 810 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

  • Experience in the automotive industry or vehicle logistics preferred

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) required

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) a plus

  • Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management preferred

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of vehicle logistics processes and best practices.

  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
