Job Description

As an Integration specialist specializing in Oracle Service Bus, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients in the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions. You will leverage your knowledge of Oracle Service Bus to deliver scalable and efficient integration solutions that meet clients' business objectives.

Implement and configure Oracle Service Bus Integrations: Configure and customize Oracle Service Bus 12c to implement integration interfaces, service endpoints, message flows, and transformations. Leverage OSB adapters and transport protocols to facilitate seamless integration between systems.In-depth knowledge of Oracle Service Bus 12c principles, proxy services, business services, message flows, and transformations.Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and XQuery for designing and implementing transformations and message manipulations in Oracle Service Bus.Solid understanding of web services standards (SOAP, REST) and transport protocols (HTTP, JMS).Experience in integration with Oracle Service Bus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams and stakeholders.Familiarity with communications industry standards and protocols such as TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID) is a plus.Experience with cloud integration technologies and Oracle Cloud offerings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Understand client requirements: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze their integration requirements, identify business process gaps, and document functional and technical specifications.

Design and architect integration solutions: Utilize your expertise in Oracle Service Bus to design scalable and robust integration solutions that align with client's business needs. This includes defining integration patterns, data mappings, and service orchestrations.

Develop and implement integration solutions: Utilize your technical skills to develop and implement integration solutions using Oracle Service Bus. This includes designing and developing interfaces, orchestrations, adapters, and custom components.

Conduct system configuration and customization: Configure and customize Oracle Service Bus components to meet specific client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide technical guidance and support: Act as a subject matter expert on Oracle Service Bus, offering guidance and support to clients and project teams on best practices, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Conduct testing and quality assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of integration solutions, performing unit testing, integration testing, and assisting with user acceptance testing.

Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create comprehensive documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides. Share knowledge and best practices with team members and contribute to internal knowledge repositories.

Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously update your knowledge and skills related to Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, and other relevant Oracle technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
