Pearson Assistant Manager Business Development in India
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take complete ownership of the geography and Institutes allocated at Kerala.
To make physical visits or calls as required daily
Connect with Top Management, Dean, Principal, HOD, faculty members of respective Institutes to demonstrate digital products and to get recommendations for print & digital products
. To gain all the relevant market information towards all the Government Institution Library Meetings proceedings and prepare to attend the same .
Ensure proper co ordination with all the team members in lead management and its conversions
Instrumental for opening new distribution for selling all the print & digital products of Pearson

Ready to travel as this profile would require majority of time in field and travel which includes local as well as outstation travel which can be extended to a few days as well. Approximately 70% travel to manage the overall territory.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate / MBA in Sales Marketing.
Minimum 7 years of experience preferably from Higher Ed Print and Digital Products, Ed Tech or from
Assessment products
Good communication skills.
Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Initiative, resourcefulness and attention to detail
Should be fluent (read, speak & write) in Malayalam & English
