Job Summary

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for small- to mid-sized projects.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, debugging and support for systems software/hardware, including implementation support for multiple infrastructure platforms on mid-sized and smaller projects.

• Tunes platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. Performs root cause analyses for service interruption recoveries. Creates preventative measures and presents to management.

• Identifies and tests processes for automation. Performs configuration prior to the quality assurance process.

• Develops expert knowledge of industry best practices and uses that knowledge to provide technical support to project team members.

• Provides 24/7 on-call support for assigned systems, including investigating and troubleshooting problems.

• Discusses issues with users and translates issues to determine appropriate technical solutions.

Nature and Scope

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.

• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

• Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and/or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Preferred Qualifications

SOTI Engineer

Skills: -

• SOTI MobiControl experience

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile solutions using the SOTI Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

• Windows Intune experience is desired in this role

• Monitor Intune console for compliance violations and take appropriate actions to remediate issues.

• Assist end-users with Intune-related tasks, such as application deployment, policy enforcement, and remote wipe.

• Proficiency in Android Mobile Device Management and Google Store in an enterprise setting

• Familiarity with PowerShell is a plus Responsibilities:

• Support and lead mobility SSID devices rotation for security compliance Execute device patching and introduce new strategies for patch automation

• Manage MobiControl device management for on-prem and cloud devices globally

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile device management, security, and performance optimizations.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technology and SOTI MDM platform features.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting MDM (Mobile Device Management) global infrastructure.

• Experience supporting SOTI MobiControl MDM Servers.

• Troubleshoot devices related end to end issues for supported backend application & systems

• Experience supports SOTI portable platforms, scanners et al.

• Maintain, Manage, Update & Support the SOTI mobile device management solution (MDM) and connected devices.

• Support the SOTI mobile device management platform.

• Support & Maintenance (including proactive checks, compliance levels), configure and onboard new RF guns and thermal printers.

• Deployment of the operating system; security upgrades, firmware (Post Testing) & drivers

• Troubleshoot devices related end to end issues for supported Back End application & systems.

• Support & Maintenance preventative maintenance including proactive checks and compliance levels of specialty printers, drivers & the print queues.
