FREEMAN Senior Account Manager in Multiple European Countries

Position Overview:

Sparks Marketing, leading event and experiential agency, is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our multicultural, enthusiastic and rapidly growing team in Europe.

As Senior Account Manager (SAM) you will act as liaison on specific account projects by coordinating work with all internal departments as well as external vendors; facilitating information between design, detailing, estimating, production, client(s) and Account Director(s), tracking production and deadlines to ensure continued progress of client workflow. As the Senior AM you will be responsible for all of the daily tactical activities and communicating directly with clients and partners while building strong relationships all over. You will act in a supervising role and provide guidance and oversight for AM teams as needed. Applicants must have deep knowledge of and experience in the tradeshow/event or experiential industry. This position is full-time and can be remote in Europe but you must be willing to travel to Paris 2-3 days per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact and communicate directly with clients, vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage and keep overview of all details of project management for specific projects, maintain and update all internal processes, schedules and communications on an on-going basis

  • Manage client estimates, quotations and invoicing

  • Direct services requirements with Account Coordinator

  • Manage graphic needs, approvals and tracking in cooperation with Graphic Manager

  • Travel as required for on-site support including supervision of installation/dismantle and third-party vendors and meeting all client needs.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and a minimum of 5 years of account or project management experience in the tradeshow/event or related industry.

  • Strong client management and organizational skills, ability to work independently

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Demonstrated account management competencies: accountability for results, client focus, team effectiveness, developing others, organizational sophistication.

  • Ability to anticipate problems, proactively determine solutions and take action within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while keeping overview.

  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

  • Ability to travel as requested

Preferred Skills:

  • Motivated, service-minded, resourceful and self-driven

  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic team player

  • Tech-Savvy; proficient in the Google G Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, collaborative team project management software etc.

  • Multiple languages (English is mandatory, French, Spanish or German is a plus)

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
