Ford Motor Company ASR and ECC Engineering in China
Lead Advanced service release activities to ensure all service required parts have been identified and released from engineering system. Ensure the accuracy of service BOM with appropriate structure, attributes, buildable combinations, and engineering change information.
Liaise with Product Development, Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure that new model service parts are identified and released correctly in WERS through end of lifecycle.
Coordinate with receiving market and stakeholders for service required parts
Work with related functions and receiving markets to support GPDS gateway launch and key needs fulfilled
Lead SBOM validation through to end-of-life cycle. Liaise with catalogue authoring and releasing teams to ensure all service parts are identified, released, catalogued in a timely manner Clarify Micro-cat publish issues with Manufacturing and contract party
Bachelor’s degree at engineering or vehicle engineering. Minimum 5 years’ workplace experience within the Automotive Industry, Previous experience in D&R or related field
Strong understanding of GPDS, Ford PDL and Ford Eng system (WERS)
Strong understanding of Engineering BOM (knowledge of Service BOM is a plus) and engineering running change process
Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Result driven and ability to handle multiple projects
Self-motivated, good logic and ability to work in a team environment. Sense of urgency and customer satisfaction mindset.
