Talent Acquisition Specialist General Description: The Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Hiring Manager to develop Position Descriptions
  • Seek approval for all requested positions.
  • Post position in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Post position on appropriate States Employment Site and on complete list of resources where GTS posts positions.
  • Identify new resources for recruiting.
  • Source candidates from the GTS ATS, subscription services and from LinkedIn.
  • Pre-screen candidates before sending to Hiring Manager.
  • Set-up interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Prepare offer letters, submit to candidate, receive acceptance, set up background check, set up hire date.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in career fairs.
  • Coordinate with HR Director on all AAP efforts.
  • Participate in onboarding, new hire reporting, and application submission to carriers.
  • Participate in auditing of systems and data entry of information into systems.
  • Participate in event planning and employee morale boosting efforts.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in recruiting.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment and typically works 40 hours weekly. In this position the employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scan/fax machines. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and to reach with hands and arms. Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment and light lifting less than 30 lbs. Requests for reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Communication proficiency; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both a verbal

and written format

  • Proactive and independent with ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaboration skills; Ability to work in a team environment
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Outlook) and ATS software
  • Knowledge of proper interview skills

Beneficial Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Paycor ATS experience
