Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified IT Business Analyst in support of one of are large federal clients in Norfolk, Virginia. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for business systems and processes, including terminal and warehouse shipment loading, point of sales and ticketing, delivery performance, and document management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reporting and data retrieval from production and manufacturing facilities, as well as distribution terminals. They will support the company's SharePoint environment and assist in the implementation of automation and digitization projects. Additionally, they will oversee the standardization and upgrades of plant manufacturing applications and systems. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
Gaining knowledge of existing systems to provide application support, including CommandAlkon Integra, CommandSeries, Apex, vehicle telematics, Docuware, and Microsoft SharePoint.
Quickly learning new applications and become a subject matter expert.
Supporting process automation, reporting, and manage system change requests, user documentation, and application training.
Participating in system design reviews, ensure compliance with user requirements, and assist in developing business cases and ROI analysis.
Supporting the application development life cycle and coordinate with internal and external teams for scheduling, testing, and implementations.
Working with vendors on system installations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Providing ongoing support to business units, maintain knowledge of third-party systems, and identify opportunities for promotion within the company.

Skills and Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivilent years of experience required in lue of degree.
3-5+ YOE as a Business Analyst gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Proficiency in the complete systems life cycle and familiarity with current technologies.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate business operations and organize system components into effective solutions.
Proven ability to plan and manage multiple high-quality information systems projects within set timelines.
Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and adjust approaches or methods to best fit the situation, including handling frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events. Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM is a plus.
Knowledge of application interfaces, databases, and reporting capabilities
