ORDER FULFILLMENT

• Accurately fulfill customer orders with fresh and frozen meats according to packing instructions.
• Ensure accuracy of product quantities and weights.
• Safely store meats in refrigerators, freezers and vehicles according to procedures.
• Restock, clean and organize freezers at multiple locations.
• Accurately maintain par levels at multiple locations and report product needs as directed.
• Carefully and safely transport inventory between locations maintaining proper temperatures.
• Assist with inventory management, adhering to food safety protocols and procedures.

ORDER DELIVERY

• Accurately, efficiently and safely organize and pack delivery vehicles, according to procedures maintaining proper temperatures.
• Deliver products to customers ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding company core values.
• Assist with payment collection from customers with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate transfer of goods and paperwork with customer signatures.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking fluids, and changing tires, with care and safety according to company policies.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance, fuel, and mileage records for multiple divisions and report vehicle needs in an accurate, timely manner.

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist with projects, events, and initiatives across all company divisions.
• Participate in team meetings helping to advance the company's core focus and values.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Have ForkLift certification, or be able to successfully obtain it with company assistance.
• Ability to skillfully operate Electric Pallet Jack, following policies and procedures.
• Ability to skillfully drive a tractor, van, car, and truck.
• Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and use of printers.
• Dress appropriately, including steel toed shoes.
• Conduct oneself in line with the core values Shipley Farms and Watauga Butchery.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequent exposure to outdoors when going between buildings and making deliveries
• Frequent exposure to extreme cold during the handling of finished products in and out of the freezer.
• Regularly perform physically demanding tasks, including: standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and bending.
• Occasional activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Driving cars, vans, tractors, and trucks within the local area.
• Outdoor farm field events.
• Subject to drug testing by employer request.
