Location: VIenna, VA-1 day week onsite required
Responsibilities:
Implement and coordinate knowledge management activities/processes to include content analysis, document management, data capture, portals, and customer reporting
create, curate and distribute on-demand content through multiple online channels, including, internal platforms, learning management systems.
create, edit, and organize technical and organizational information and turn it into compelling and useful content for internal audiences.
Design and create training content for training and webinar use
Partner with subject matter experts and collaborators to provide input for training content (product teams, support teams, etc.)
Write technical documents and training collateral to support training projects
Continuously look for opportunities to streamline, automate and improve current training documentation and processes
Research, analyze, and document engineering and processing information (e.g. drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications.
Gathers technical information, prepare written text, and coordinates layout and manual organization
Integrate information from functions throughout the organization to facilitate access, sharing and disseminating information with team members, internal business partners, and stakeholders
Research, gather, and synthesize data; present conclusion and recommendations to management and/or team members
Monitor solutions' key performance indicators and other key measures to ensure ongoing benefits are realized Monitor solutions' key performance indicators and other key measures to ensure ongoing benefits are realized
Leverage data and insights from customers and team members to inform content development, developing new content as needed based on feedback
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience writing technical internal process documentation and other forms of technical content, including capturing step-by-step instructions and using visuals to create a story
Experience with authoring tools (I.e. Articulate) is required
Previous experience working directly with clients/end users
Microsoft Office and Visio
Must demonstrate superior writing, editing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Significant experience researching, compiling, and documenting data, business processes, and workflow
Extensive experience with content management
Significant experience in developing technical documentation
Extensive experience managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
Expert skill capturing and translating technical processes and requirements into easily understood terms
Advanced skill communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Advanced skill identifying and analyzing technical requirements and recommending solutions
Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Expert verbal and written communication skills
Advanced skill working with all levels of management, supervisors, stakeholders, and vendors
Experience creating/editing presentations using software or other types of material/media
