Cleveland Clinic Interventional Radiology Technologist - Body in Vero Beach, Florida

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will provide assistance with diagnostic and clinical procedures. Using your training and advanced knowledge, you will perform various imaging techniques, ensuring accuracy and clarity in detecting pathologies. In this role, you will gain ample experience, resources to learn and grow and encouragement as you find your place within the Cleveland Clinic system and make a difference in the lives of patients every day.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with on-call and weekend requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform duties involved with various technical procedures to detect pathology. Perform routine imaging, emergent, invasive and special procedures.
Improve patient care and workflows by providing support, education and assistance to patients and caregivers.
Safely operate equipment and maintain standards while performing procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean and economical operation.
Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, patient information, networking and informatics.
Document in chart upon completion of procedures.
Complete and send electronic data.
Provide copies of imaging studies.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Registered through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Florida license as a General Radiographer (RAD)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting
Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Physical Requirements:
Requires sitting at a workstation or desk; requires standing; work may include occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
Work requires finger dexterity and eye hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.
Mental Demands: Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests and to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team; ability to ensure operational efficiency; ability to problem solve and make decisions; ability to exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers.
Special Demands: Needs minimal sustained direction in assessing needs, carrying out departmental and professional responsibilities; self-starting and self-motivating; working hours may exceed eight (8) hours per day and is based on what is needed to accomplish work at hand.
