Job Title: Electronic Repair Technician
Job Description
As an Electronics Repair Technician , you will perform repairs on electronic and electrical devices and manage product repair information within our systems. Your work will be conducted under the guidance of the Repair Department Supervisor, Manager, and Engineers. This position is on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, and paying up to $25.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting component-level diagnosis and repairs of CNC, servo/spindle drives, PLCs, and other electronic and electrical equipment.
Disassemble units and conduct unit setups.
Replace components to test for equipment operability.
Clean units using the ultrasonic cleaning system.
Provide technical information to the Customer Service Group as requested.
Enter repair data into the SAP system.
Perform other job functions as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in electronics repair and troubleshooting at the component level.
Proficiency in soldering .
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, schematics, charts, and written work instructions.
Good oral communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Flexible work style with the ability to navigate changing priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to analyze and diagnose problems independently.
Must be able to travel to off-site assignments with short notice.
Physically able to access and inspect all areas of machinery.
Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds frequently.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean assembly department, well-lit, unlike a typical production facility. You will join a team of 12 assemblers working in a collaborative and family-like setting. The dress code is casual with closed-toed shoes.

This position based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
