Lockheed Martin Logistics Material Clerk (Shipping/Receiving/Issues and Storage) in Vandenberg Air Force Base, California
Description: Receive, ship, disburse, package, crate and store material such as parts, tools, test
equipment, blueprints and general supplies. Move material and documentation between
supply or storage areas. Prepare supporting documentation and maintain necessary files
and records. Process material to be surplused. Operate storeroom, warehouse facilities,
and tool cribs. Perform inventories of accountable property and supplies. Perform daily
vehicle inspections. Investigate and correct clerical errors on individual documents. Check
nomenclature, quantities, condition and other data for correctness. Set up and stock
cleanroom garments and supplies in cleanroom areas. Verify Product Assurance
acceptance and documentation. Advise Logistics coordinators of problem areas and
discrepancies. Prepare material availability or usage data on request
Investigate and follow up to provide prompt turnaround of program spares disbursed on
schedule/unscheduled Equipment Maintenance and Certification Work Orders, and loans.
Coordinate with using and repair organizations to affect a smooth flow of returning material
to the stock area.
Basic Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of supply chain, material shipping and receiving operations, inventory procedures and practices; knowledge of stores system used to control the allocation of
materials; knowledge of property accountability.
*Ability to operate hand trucks, forklifts,
and other material handling devices including a narrow isle type forklift, which requires
certifications on all powered equipment.
* Must possess applicable State and/or
Government vehicle operator's licenses.
*Computer skills to prepare and process requests and supply orders.
* Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. and must be able to climb 6 ft. on a ladder.
* Knowledge of basic commercial arithmetic.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph DOD government clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
The base range for this position in California is $20.29 - $35.63.
