About the Role:

The vision of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is to enable a holistic, cross-functional view of risks to drive their effective prioritization and management in line with the Company’s strategic objectives. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the risk standards that document and implement the Company’s risk management programs.

Responsible for assisting in operational and enterprise risk management activities of the bank through consultation, coordination of other risk areas, assessment, and monitoring. Applies effective challenge through monitoring, analysis, and reporting on significant risk and control issues. Assist in the development of effective action plans. Maintains an enterprise risk management strategy that reduces risk, promotes operational efficiency and fosters a high-quality customer experience through implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Program. A strong candidate should possess a solid grasp of risk management principles and the role of ERM within the 2nd line. Additionally, they should demonstrate a keen interest in exploring the interconnections within risk information and exhibit a natural talent for documenting and aligning program requirements.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge in operational and/or enterprise risk area(s) of the bank or holding company to effectively monitor and challenge associated risk management.

  • Under the direction of Enterprise Risk Manager, Enterprise Risk Analyst II, or Risk Officer, assist in administering the Enterprise Risk Management Program through consultation, monitoring, assessment, and reporting on enterprise-wide risks.

  • Assist in the execution of risk management activities, by utilizing a full suite of risk tools and programs to help influence decision making and drive risk management prioritization throughout the enterprise.

  • Proofread, format and publish policy, standard, or procedures content into online manuals and other resource libraries.

  • Collaborate with content owners to author, update and improve policies, standards andprocedures..

  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or other applicable discipline or equivalent experience.

  • 2-4 years of banking, risk management, compliance, finance, or IT/Ops audit experience.Required

  • 2-4 years of technical writing and editing experience.Preferred

  • Working knowledge of tools and techniques employed in risk identification, risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Ability to work under the direction of Manager, Risk Analyst II,orRiskOfficer on assigned work efforts, which may involve working with a multitude of business units/key stakeholders or other risk professionals.

  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information to a variety of different audiences.

  • Familiarity with policy, standard and procedure writing.

  • Knowledge of desktop publishing software and experience adhering to a writing and style guide, preferred.

  • Knowledge of operational and enterprise risk management concepts, best practices, and regulatory guidance.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, MicrosoftPowerpoint,MicroSoftPowerBIand knowledge IRM/GRC systems helpful.

  • Proven ability to problem-solve issues with moderate supervision.

Workstyle: Fully onsite.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $54,000.00-$81,000.00and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including,but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
