Automation and Control Strategies (ACS Pro Staffing) Business Systems Analyst in Vancouver, Washington

Location: Vancouver, Washington Type: Contract Job #7338 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Business Systems Analyst 3 position will focus on a combination of business analysis, business systems analysis, and SharePoint design. This position will conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews, critically evaluate current state processes, and design best-practice solutions for seamless implementation. The position will contribute to the continuous improvement of existing tools by enhancing their functionality and aligning them with user needs and system capabilities. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Plan, organize, and facilitate process improvement and business process documentation sessions. Research, analyze, model, and organize information for developing requirements. Decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to distinguish between solution ideas and business needs. Facilitate requirements validation sessions and present findings. Collaborate to facilitate resolution of requirement conflicts between stakeholders. Support Gathering and Analyzing Information to ensure Standardization of Tools. Clarify business operations, functions, and problems. Document/map the current to the future state. Identify solution alternatives - evaluating and defining procedures. Develop influence diagrams or other conceptual models that define relationships and structure for business process mapping/understanding. Design, architect, build, and recommend solutions based on requirements and best practices approved by management. Facilitate/assist in technical process improvement initiatives. Research and develop methods to automate repetitive manual data manipulations. Use Rapid System Development methods to build prototypes. Propose management solutions that integrate various other systems and dependencies. Complete all documentation in support of the solution, including use cases, requirements, test plans, process maps, and desk procedures. Assist in the development of Business Cases/Justifications for the identified improvement opportunities and present the proposed solutions in both verbal and written formats to key stakeholders and sponsors. Design a proposal for a central Asset Management SharePoint site, including a process library, commonly referenced tools and policies, and other needs as defined by the business. Design and support diverse SharePoint requirements. Recommend and implement approved best practices as it relates to SharePoint design and development. Work with diverse organizations within the company to verify alignment and smooth transitions between solutions (for example, communicating with other stakeholder groups when documentation is moved on a site). Support the development and implementation of change management plans that reduce employee resistance and empower management as change sponsors. Support the people side of change focus, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and skills, and organization structures.
