Amazon Senior Program Manager, Canada Transportation in Vancouver, British Columbia
Description
Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to plan and execute transportation supply chain initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on Canada. This is a highly visible role with focus on transportation planning, and network design to drive continuous improvement. The role will lead cross functional initiatives, manage resources and risk, steer approvals, and drive implementation. Stakeholders include senior leaders at Amazon, partner operations teams, technology and non-technology teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
Responsibilities:
Develop operational strategy and write project proposals.
Lead large cross-functional projects, end to end, to deploy logistics solutions in Canada.
Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country specific compliance.
Liaise directly with senior leadership on defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop and improve project and program management processes.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

The base salary for this position ranges from $84,400/year up to $141,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
