Responsibilities
Responsible for complying with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (i.e. BRC, SQF)
Responsible for supporting the HARPC Team in the implementation of an effective Food Safety plan focused on the elimination of biological, chemical, physical and economically motivated hazards from our foods.
Responsible for documentation, control, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) including procedures, records, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer requirements
Works to reduce customer/consumer complaints for foods manufactured on site using root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures
Responsible for the day to day management of the Tech 3, FSQAs including training and development of team and clear identification of objectives to meet the bakery needs
Reports food safety and quality issues, corrective actions, and preventive measures to the Manager, FSQA
Responsible for coaching, development and performance evaluations of all the Tech 3, FSQAs
Ensures completion of Quality Assurance Procedures Annual review by all FSQA Technologists
Assist in investigation and disposition of finished product placed on hold as a result of quality issues
Maintain the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor
Other duties as assigned
